organization that is committed to promoting spoken language for children
with hearing loss. This organization has a number of publications that are

Oral Deaf Ed: An organization that provides resources and
information about Options schools and teaching children how to speak |

American Academy of Audiology: The professional organization of
audiologists. It supports its members with professional development,
education, research, and public awareness campaigns. It is also a source
for finding a pediatric audiologist in your area |

Implant Club International: The CICI is an organization for
people with cochlear implants, their families, professionals, and others
who are interested in cochlear implants. |
 | American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association: This is the professional and
scientific association for more than 96,000 speech-language
pathologists, audiologists, and speech, language, and hearing scientists
in the United States and internationally. |
 | National Cued
Speech Association: This is the national organization for
professionals and parents who utilize the cued speech approach. |
 | National Association of
the Deaf: The National Association of the Deaf (NAD) is the nation's
premier civil rights organization of, by and for deaf and hard of
hearing individuals in the United States of America. Established in
1880, the NAD was shaped by deaf leaders who believed in the right of
the American deaf community to use sign language, to congregate on
issues important to them, and to have its interests represented at the

Voices: A nationwide non-profit organization dedicated to supporting
